Yellow Breeches Educational Center classrooms extend far beyond the walls of traditional settings to promote academic, social, and personal growth through experience.

Join a team of engaging and empowering individuals ready to create a nourishing learning environment inside and outside the classroom for students!

With five campuses across south central Pennsylvania, Yellow Breeches Educational Center offers an innovative approach to education that seamlessly integrates experiential learning with adventure. A deliberate low student-to-staff ratio approach (1:4 students per elementary classroom and 1:6 students per secondary school classroom) allows educators, counselors, and adventure professionals to provide individualized attention, fostering a profound sense of belonging. By tailoring teaching methods, dedicated educators actively engage, encourage, and empower students. This approach fosters their academic, social, and personal growth both within and beyond the classroom walls.

More exploration at YBEC!YBEC prides itself on the transformational process that occurs in the young people who walk through our doors. By utilizing unique therapeutic components, we take individuals with special needs and challenge them to become positive leaders in their school, home, and communities. Our core values thread through all our activities and are represented in the Five Pillars of YBEC (Courage, Effort, Respect, Responsibility and Trust). Whether it’s learning to rappel off of a ledge, pushing ourselves to try a new activity, or engaging in a new lesson in the classroom, these core values are present in all aspects of YBEC programming.
