Now hiring seasonal staff members:
Residential Park Managers & Assistants oversee park operations while ensuring exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences.
Park Interpreters develop, schedule, and deliver natural and cultural history programs, hikes, and recreation activities.
Workcampers perform park attendant duties, such as day use fee collection and campground reservations (full hook-up campsite provided; you bring the trailer or RV).
Park Attendants work with a team or independently on general maintenance and grounds keeping and/or park office duties such as day use fee collection and campground reservations.
Additional seasonal positions include Ferry Boat Deckhands and Captains, Lifeguards, Trail Crew (Member, Leader or Coordinator), Lodge Innkeeper & Cooks, and Maintenance staff.

Positions run from early May to mid-October for 10-25 weeks with varied start/end dates and part/full-time options. Pay ranges from $17.40-$23.76/hour plus a staff discount on parks merchandise and pro deal purchases. Limited temporary free housing or camping is available. On days off, enjoy free camping or day use entry into any Vermont State Park, a free fishing license, free boat rentals, and free or discounted entry into many of Vermont’s attractions with your ID card! Now seeking individuals to join an incredible crew who contribute their work ethic, excitement, and joy to an unforgettable lodge experience.

Front Office Lodge Staff are front and center of lodge activity! Responsibilities include answering the phone and making reservations, checking in guests, assisting with daily shuttles and raft pickups, and providing exceptional customer service.
Client Transportation Lodge Staff rotate between office shifts, driving, and lodge chores such as packaging fish, starting the campfire, assembling client lunches, and running errands. No two days are alike!
The Guest Services Manager will transition from a seasonal front office to a manager role that specializes in creating and executing a daily operations plan for guests on property.
A Media Intern will document fishing trips and client experiences as well as provide coverage in other departments as needed.
A Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in all guest areas, responds in a timely way to special requests, and provides friendly and engaging service.

Positions run from May 15th to August 31st (some continue through the end of September), with a 6 days/week work schedule. Compensation starts at $700-$800/week plus room and board for a modest monthly fee (includes WiFi access, fully stocked pantry for DIY breakfast/lunch and a chef prepared dinner six nights/week). Employees also have access to a shared vehicle for adventures on their day off and plenty of industry/gear discounts. In existence since 1950, Ross Lake Resort is situated in a line of twelve individual cabins and three bunkhouses built on log floats.

As a small remote resort floating in the North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake Resort is a line of fifteen individual cabins built on log floats. It is the only facility on the lake and has no direct road access.

Seasonal positions include:
Office Staff (2): Check in/out guests, answer phone/emails, attend to guest needs, schedule reservations, issue equipment rentals, manage gift shop sales, stock and inventory, and assist in all areas to help create a harmonious team atmosphere.
Housekeepers (7): Clean cabins and resort buildings, launder linens and towels, replenish supplies, and tend to guest needs.
Deckhands/Truck Drivers (6): Issue boat rentals, wash boats, maintain all rental equipments, keep docks clean, drive trucks for portage service, transport guests in/out, help with guest needs and any other resort duties.
Boat Captains (2): Transport guests and gear to and from the resort as well as to hiking trails and campsites up the 22 miles of Ross Lake. Requires a valid U.S. Coast Guard OUPV (6-pack) license.

Compensation starts at $16.66/hour (with adjustments for experience plus tips), shared floating cabin living space (with bathroom, kitchen, paid utilities, and WiFi), 30% crew discount on purchases, paid training (as well as cross-training to create a strong teamwork atmosphere), complimentary use of equipment (motorboats, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards), and incredible hiking, camping, and fishing! The 2025 season runs from June 5th to October 31st (5-day work week with two days off). Most staff arrive mid-May to open up the resort and leave mid-November to close up operations. Applicants must be able to work and live closely with others from all walks of life, enjoy the challenges that a remote floating resort has, and have an appreciation of the great outdoors.
